Bank Rakyat encountered issues with their failing Kiosk Management Systems due to hardware deterioration over a period of time. The client-server-based kiosks also required continuous management and maintenance to perform optimally. Furthermore, due to lack of telemetry data, Bank Rakyat had limited visibility of the health of its machines.

In conjunction with Google, Cloud Space provided Bank Rakyat a secure and easy-to-manage operating system by upgrading aging machines to Chrome OS Flex. NADI, the operations team, confirmed its functionality, and within a month, RMIT-aligned policy settings were configured. BKRM's implementation teams received support and guidance throughout the process, showcasing a successful transformation.

As of today, all kiosks in Bank Rakyat's retail banking lobbies have been converted to Chrome OS Flex machines from their original Windows operating systems. Management servers are no longer needed as all the kiosks can be managed remotely from the Admin Console.
